where it all begins…

a selection of intitial sketches/ideas from various jobs

chuck chuck baby - factory set. initial drawings, sketch up model based on choreography requirements, rehearsal & shoot stills

chuck chuck baby - pylon build. sketch up models, airfix models aiding decisions on construction/safety/camera angles and where annabel scholeys character would fall within the structure.

Tunnel design & trenches - ‘THE WAR BELOW’ - various configuration sketches, construction, scenic, set, shoot stills.

‘THE MAN IN THE HAT’ - on location, South of France

Designed on the road, literally from Calais to the South of France. Created entirely by visiting brocantes, flea markets and side of road boot fairs. We set off in an empty van and filled it with storytelling delights, every location told the richness of this beautiful story.
